    • Owned the backend for a staking platform that grew from a handful of early users to tens of thousands of wallets, rewriting the rewards engine in Go and cutting payout batch time from about 40 minutes to under 5.
    • Designed and shipped the smart-contract layer (Solidity + Foundry) for a new delegated-staking product, including audit prep, slashing logic, and a migration path that didn’t require users to re-stake.
    • Rebuilt the deploy pipeline on Kubernetes and Terraform with blue/green rollouts, proper secrets handling, and alerting that actually pages you for the right reasons — on-call noise dropped by roughly 70%.
    • Stood up an internal RAG assistant (LangChain + pgvector over runbooks and Solidity contracts) that support and ops lean on daily; cut average incident triage time nearly in half.
    • Mentored three mid-level engineers through promotion, ran weekly architecture reviews, and authored the backend style guide the team still follows.

    • Shipped Node.js microservices for FX quoting and settlement; tightened p95 latency from ~800ms to ~180ms by moving hot paths to Redis-backed caching and cutting chatty downstream calls.
    • Helped migrate the platform to Kubernetes on AWS with proper CI/CD in GitHub Actions, turning deploys from a stressful Friday ritual into something any engineer could do on a Tuesday.
    • Prototyped a stablecoin settlement flow on Ethereum (Solidity + ethers.js) that fed into the longer-term payments roadmap — my first real taste of on-chain work, and the thing that kept me going.
    • Ran weekly frontend guild sessions — low-ceremony, high signal — that became the primary onboarding path for new engineers.

    • Replaced a nightly ETL with a Kafka-backed streaming pipeline that delivered pricing data to brokers in near real time — quotes that used to wait in a queue were answered in under a minute.
    • Jumped into React when the team needed extra hands: rebuilt the load-tracking screen, streamlined a painful booking form, and drove UI-related customer complaints down to basically zero.
    • Introduced automated testing and structured code review to a team that had been shipping without either; production incidents dropped noticeably within six months.
    • Stayed the on-call engineer nobody dreaded, mostly because I wrote the postmortems and fixed root causes instead of symptoms.
